a. Dehumanization is when there is someone or something that
is lowering a someone who is humane or causing them to be somewhat insane or
changed.
b. The prisoner who risked his life for rations of soup was
willing to give up everything just to be full. Stein who had more hope and
boosted his own morale just by hearing that his family was alive. Many of the
prisoners also had a realization and doubted God when the child was hung and
they were made to watch him hang for a long while.
c. Eliezer recognizes that his body didn’t feel like putting
up a resistance to the guards who were hitting his father and felt powerless
and eventually started to get mad at his father who was getting hit because he
couldn’t avoid getting in the guard’s way.

usual. To hang a young boy in front of thousands of spectators was no light
